To invest a tire recycling business, firstly, you need to understand the process of a tire recycling line , how does it work to turn waste tires into valuable products, such as rubber crumbs or rubber powder.
Before you learn the tire recycling process, you also need to confirm the market you’re into. Because for different output products, the process will be a little different. For instance, if you only produce TDF (tire derived fuel), which is used as a replacement of coal or other fuel for furnace, cement factory, etc. Only a shredder can do the job, the shredder can directly cut tires into small tire pieces around 50~150mm, no need to separate the steel wires.
For other application, usually the steel wires need to be picked out, or even the nylon textile. In this case, the tire recycling line should shred the tires into small tire pieces first, then using a roller crusher or grater and granulator to grind or cut the tires into small particles less than 20mm, or smaller rubber granules such as 1~5mm. Then it follows with magnetic separators, and nylon air separator to remove steel wires and nylon, to get pure rubber granules.
